Sky UK Limited is a UK based telecommunications company which serves customers in the United Kingdom with television and broadband internet services and fixed line telephone services to both consumers and businesses. They are the UK’s largest pay-tv broadcaster hitting over 11 million customers as of 2015.


The company was formed in November 1990 by an equal merger deal between Sky Television and British Satellite Broadcasting where they were called BSkyB moving on to become UK’s largest digital subscription television company.
